Lake Pointe Granbury provides unmatched access to specialized therapies (like ABA and counseling) and comprehensive K-12 educational options for individuals on the autism spectrum and those with related neuro-developmental learning differences. The Finish Line is Just the Beginning! After you cross the finish line, waddle on over to City Beach Park to keep the winter party going! We’re forecasting a 100% chance of SNOW!

Feeling brave? Support your favorite local charity by taking the plunge into the freezing waters of Lake Granbury at the annual Goosebump Jump. (Spectating the jump is completely free—and highly encouraged!)

• Location: Hewlett Park (650 W Pearl St, Granbury, TX 76048)

• Terrain: 100% paved trail and road (Out-and-Back)

• Parking: FREE parking right at the Hewlett Park lot!

🏅 Classic Wooly Swag & Awards

• The Goods: All participants ages 6 and up score an official  ICE AGE 5K Race Shirt and a remarkably cool Finisher's Medal.

• The Glory: Awards are for TIMED runners only. We award 1st Place (Male & Female) across all age groups: 10 & Under | 11-14 | 15 -17 | 18 -24 | 25-34 | 35-44 | 45-54 | 55-64 | 65+

Event Day Schedule

Set your alarms! Here is how race day goes down on Jan 17th:

• 8:00 AM – Packet Pick-Up Opens (On-site at Hewlett Park)

• 9:00 AM – Competitive Timed 5K Starts

• 9:30 AM – Fun Run / Untimed 5K Starts

• 10:00 AM – 5K Awards Ceremony

• 11:00 AM – Registration opens for the Goosebump Jump (City Beach)

• 12:00 PM – THE GOOSEBUMP JUMP! 🥶

The Fine Print 

• No Paws on the Pavement: As much as we love your furry friends, USATF sanctioned event policies mean pets are not allowed to participate on the course during the event.

• Weather Policy: The Mammoth Ice Age 5K happens RAIN, SNOW, OR SHINE! If conditions become genuinely unsafe, race directors and city officials may alter, postpone, or cancel the route for your safety. (Note: No refunds are issued for inclement weather cancellations).​​​​​
